Biography
Mark Goldenberg is one of the founders of the firm and is its managing partner. Having practiced
law for over a quarter of a century, his special areas of expertise are estate planning, tax law, class actions and
commercial law. He is a certified public accountant and founder of the CPA firm Tzinberg & Goldenberg, PC, CPA.
A University of Illinois graduate (B.S. in accounting in 1970; J.D., 1973), Mark
is an avid supporter of the University of Illinois and its sports teams. Mark represented Assistant Basketball
Coaches Jimmy Collins and Dick Nagy in the first ever successful defenses of NCAA charges in the Dien Thomas-LaPhonso
Ellis case in 1989-1990.
Mark is a member of the University of Illinois President’s Council, College of Law Cribbet
Society and the Fighting Illini Scholarship Fund Loyalty Circle. In January, 2001, Mark was appointed to the College
of Law Board of Visitors by the Dean. Mark serves as member of the St. Louis Sports Commission. He currently assists
the University of Illinois School of Law as the Guest Presenter in his Trial Advocacy Program.
Mark is married and has two children. In addition to cheering for the Fighting
Illini, Mark enjoys running, bicycling and golfing.
